Why “To Seek Life”?
The name comes from the Tagalog phrase “Mag Hanapbuhay”—to seek livelihood or find work—reflecting our mission to help families build self-reliance through meaningful, honest work.
Our motto, “Bawal ang Tamad” (Laziness is Not an Option), inspires diligence, dignity, and lasting change.

In January 2025, Jovel and his family received their first two pigs through the To Seek Life program. With hard work and dedication, he successfully raised and sold them, allowing him to reinvest by receiving his next set of pigs. This opportunity has empowered Jovel to begin saving for his child’s education and build a foundation for his family’s future.
