What is the mission of To Seek Life?
To Seek Life empowers Filipino families through faith-based, sustainable work. We teach practical business skills—using whatever resources are available—and help families avoid common pitfalls. As funding grows, we expand our programs to teach more families. Our most successful model so far is hog raising, where families receive two piglets and feed to start a small, life-changing business.
How are the donations spent?
100% of your donation goes directly to our work in the Philippines. We do not use any donated funds for U.S. administration. Every contribution helps us sustain and grow our impact—maintaining current program areas, opening new ones, and reaching more families. Your support helps provide piglets, feed, and ongoing veterinary care through our trained Vet Techs, giving families the resources they need to raise healthy pigs and build a more secure future.
How are recipients selected?
Families are recommended by their local spiritual leaders and ministering brothers and sisters. To qualify, they must be willing to attend trainings on the To Seek Life curriculum, personal finance, entrepreneurship, and hog raising. They also need a suitable area for a pig pen and live in a location where the pigs won’t create issues for neighbors.

We provide clear, simple guidelines for recipients and offer basic but essential hog-raising training. Regular communication and encouragement help families stay on track, and our focus on small, achievable goals builds momentum and long-term progress.
