Our Mission, Goals, & Values
Our mission is to create pathways to sustainable employment by equipping vulnerable individuals with practical skills and opportunities that foster self-reliance, strengthen families, and inspire hope for a better future. We believe that small acts of service can ignite powerful, lasting change.
While helping members become profitable in their pig-raising endeavors is important, it is not our end goal. It is only the beginning. We intentionally pair these economic opportunities with faith-based financial education, guiding families to manage and multiply their income according to gospel principles and long-term self-reliance, ensuring that both their finances and their faith grow stronger together.
Participants Are Taught:
Pay tithing and seek spiritual blessings
Save consistently for emergencies and future needs
Avoid unnecessary expenses such as frequent fast food (like Jollibee), online shopping, and snack splurges
Guard against common traps that often accompany rising income, including gambling, alcohol, drug use, infidelity, and uncontrolled spending—vices that can quickly undermine financial progress and family stability
Use their profits wisely to provide food, fund their children’s education, and improve living conditions
How To Accomplish These Goals?
To Seek Life uses a three fold approach to empower vulnerable Filipino families toward self reliance. Through business education, personal finance training, and sustainable agriculture including hog raising and other applicable ventures, we provide practical skills that strengthen livelihoods and bring lasting hope to families.

1. Business Education
Through business education, recipients learn practical skills to help their businesses grow and be sustainable. They are taught how to understand costs and profits, build healthy business relationships, manage labor and production, set clear expectations, and keep accurate records so they can confidently lead and succeed in their businesses.
2. Personal Finance
Money management is a vital part of long-term success. As recipients begin earning income, they are taught how to manage every peso wisely by tracking money in and out, saving for the future, and living within their means. Through practical training, they learn to identify unnecessary expenses, recognize harmful habits and temptations, and make thoughtful financial choices that lead to lifelong change and help shape a stronger future for the next generation.

3. Sustainable Agriculture
Participants receive ongoing training in proper feeding, hygiene, and overall pig care to ensure healthy and thriving livestock. We also make sure their pens are properly prepared and ready to safely house the pigs before they receive them. A trained veterinary technician in each area provides essential oversight, helping protect families from local scams, ensuring fair pricing and piglet quality, and monitoring genetics, feed standards, and medical care to give every family the best opportunity for long-term success.
