Anggi Family
Here’s an update on the Anggi family. They were the very first recipients of piglets and feed. As you can see from the picture below, these piglets meant so much to them.
The Anggi family was chosen not only because of their meager income and vulnerable situation, but also because of their strong desire to become self-reliant. They were selected for their work ethic and their willingness to dedicate the time, energy, and effort needed to make this opportunity a success. Brother Anggi’s annual income is only 12,000 pesos.
This marks their second round of pig sales. They sold two pigs for a total of 30,400 pesos and reinvested 19,400 pesos into two more pigs and feed for the next cycle. In just three months, they earned a profit of 11,000 pesos, nearly doubling their annual income in a single cycle.
